1972 – Electric Light Orchestra make their live debut at a pub in England.
1974 – Queen makes their U.S. live debut at Regis College in Denver opening for Mott the Hoople.
1992 – Nirvana makes the cover of Rolling Stone with Kurt Cobain wearing a T-shirt that reads, “Corporate Magazines Still Suck.”
1993 – David Lee Roth is arrested in New York City’s Washington Square Park for allegedly buying a $10 bag of marijuana from an undercover police officer.
1994 – Pearl Jam made their second appearance on Saturday Night Live where they performed during the closing credits. Eddie Vedder pointed out the letter K on his shirt over his heart which was considered by many as Vedder’s tribute to Kurt Cobain.
1996 – KISS performs at the Grammys in full makeup and costume. It’s just the second time since 1980 that all four original members have been on stage together.
2010 – Soundgarden play their first show in 13 years in Seattle.
