2004 – The Icons of the Twentieth Century Music auction was held in Dallas. Elton John’s Piano that he wrote “Your Song” on sold for $164,500 and Kurt Cobain’s Mosrite Gospel Mark IV guitar sold for $117,500

2015 – Eagles’ drummer Don Henley settled his lawsuit with the Duluth Trading Company after the Wisconsin apparel makers sent promotional emails to their customers urging them to “Don a Henley and Take It Easy”. The Duluth Trading posted an apology on their website and made an undisclosed contribution to the Walden Woods Project an organization founded by Henley.
