1973: Lynyrd Skynyrd records “Free Bird” during sessions for their debut album.
1975: Steve Miller was arrested and charged with setting fire to the clothes of his friend & resisting arrest. Charges were dropped the next day.
1980: Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders gets in an altercation in Memphis, TN at a bar and is arrested. She even kicks out the window of the police cruiser and spends the night in jail.
2007: During an interview with a British music magazine, Keith Richards admitted that he snorted his father’s ashes mixed with cocaine. Richards’ manager later claimed that the comment was a joke, let’s hope it was.
