1966– The Rolling Stones reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart for the third time with “Paint It, Black” which spent one week on top of the chart.
1976– Rush records their first live album “All the World’s a Stage” during a performance at Toronto’s Massey Hall.
2002– Paul McCartney marries Heather Mills. Guests at the wedding included Ringo Starr, David Gilmour, Elton John & Chrissie Hynde. They would divorce four years later.
2005– Jimmy Page was named an officer of the Order of the British Empire & Brian May was named a commander of the Order of the British Empire.
