1991: Van Halen released their ninth album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. The album would hit number one sell three million copies in the U.S.
1997: Fans rioted during an Ozzfest concert in Columbus, OH after it was announced that Ozzy Osbourne would not be performing due to a sore throat. Members of the other bands on the bill had performed were performing a number of Ozzy Osbourne & Black Sabbath songs before news broke that Osbourne would not be performing.
2006: The Rolling Stones announced that Ron Wood entered rehab for alcohol dependency. He would rejoin the band on tour a few weeks later.
