1993 – Bruce Springsteen appeared on the final episode of Late Night with David Letterman where he performed “Glory Days”.
1994 – The Stone Temple Pilots Purple debuts at #1 on the US album Charts.
2004 – David Bowie cut short a performance at the Hurricane Festival in Germany complaining of chest pains & was hospitalized. It’s discovered he has a blocked artery that required emergency angioplasty. Bowie would cancel his remaining scheduled tour dates for the year.
