1976 – Led Zeppelin hits number one for two weeks with Presence album

1995 – One year after its release Live’s Throwing Copper album hits the top spot on the Billboard albums chart.
2000 – Neil Young was sued for $1.8 million by Jimmy McDonough, a writer who claimed that Young had backed out of publication of an authorized biography. The book would eventually get published in 2002.
2006 – A new world record is certified for most guitarists playing at the same time when 1,581 guitarists simultaneously perform Jimi Hendrix’s version of “Hey Joe” in Poland.
