1970: The triple soundtrack album Woodstock is released. The album features Canned Heat, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Who, Santana and others.
1974: Led Zeppelin attended Elvis Presley’s concert in LA. During the concert, Presley stopped a song and told his band to start a song together because Led Zeppelin was in the audience. After the show the band hangs out with Elvis for 2 hours backstage.
2008: Rush’s original drummer, the one before Neal Peart, John Rutsey passes away at the age of 55, he played on the band’s debut album.
2011: Led Zeppelin’s 1979 concert T-shirt is sold for $10,000 on ebay, the largest amount ever paid for a vintage t-shirt.
