1987: U2 performs in Rome, Italy. The sound system is so loud during the show that neighbors call emergency services claiming there was an earthquake.
1988: The first U.S. Monsters of Rock tour kicked off at in Wisconsin. Van Halen headlined with support from the Scorpions, Metallica and Dokken.
1994: The Eagles kicked off their “Hell Freezes Over” reunion tour with a five night stand in Irvine, CA. The tour was the first to charge more than $100 tickets and would last over 2 years.
