1976: The Allman Brothers Band break up for the first time
1978: Bruce Springsteen legal battle with his former manager Mike Appel ends and it allows Springsteen to record new material. Springsteen allegedly signed that record deal on a hood of a car.
1982: Rocky III hits theaters. The movie features the classic “Eye of the Tiger.” By Survivor. Sylvester Stallone asked the band to write and record the song when he couldn’t get permission to use the Queen song “Another One Bites The Dust.”
2007: The Police set aside their differences and launch their first tour since 1986 in Vancouver. The tour last 151 shows. & went on to gross $358 million, making it the third highest grossing tour of all time at that time.
