Military Hero

SSG Austin Gillelan was nominated by his wife Heather, who had the following to say about him: "Austin is one of the most selfless people I know. He is currently an active guard reservist meaning he is active duty with the national guard. He recently returned from a 10 month deployment to the Horn of Africa. He left behind two sons and myself, being 3 months pregnant when he left. Our daughter Leighton was born during his deployment and unfortunately, he did not get to make it home for the birth and did not meet her until she was 3 months old. This was not our first rodeo though this was Austin’s third deployment and the second leaving behind a newborn. He puts the mission first and always try’s to improve whatever organization he is a part of. He is a fantastic husband and deserves this more than anything." THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, AUSTIN!
