Military Hero

Steve was nominated by Sarah Lucas: Steve has spent 30 years serving the United States Marine Corps and is retiring at the end of October 2018! Out of 30 year, the last 27 years he spent as an EOD technician. Steve is known as a Mustang due to holding 13 different ranks in the enlisted, Warrant Officer and Officer ranks in the Marine Corps. He is a part of a big military family with 2 of his sons in the U.S. Coast Guard and his wife being retired from the US Army. He volunteers selflessly with Freedom Hunters, Boot Campaign and the EOD Warrior Foundation giving back to the military community! He’s an avid hunter who works to bring veterans, wounded warriors along with their families to the woods and assists them in enjoying the outdoors with hunting and fishing. He has taken on the adventure of living in a RV full-time to do some traveling before settling down in Colorado to peruse his education as a Gunsmith. He is appreciated for his constant devotion to his family, the military community, the Marine Corps and the United States!!
