Military Hero

Military Hero
Tina is my wife of almost 22 years. She will have served in the Navy for 26 years in May. We have lived in Virginia Beach since July 2006. She has recently served from February 2011 to October 2011 in Afghanistan. Prior to that she was the senior enlisted adviser for Sewells Point Clinic for 18 months. When we moved here in July 2006 she was stationed on the USS Kearsarge LHD3. Out of the three years aboard the ship she was deployed about two and a half years. Including support to the Middle East, Tsunami aide in Indonesia, and Operation Smile in South America. She has also been stationed in Millington, TN, Camp Lejeune, NC, Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland, Charleston Naval Hospital in South Carolina and Naval Hospital Naples, Italy. Which is where we met when I was serving in the US Marine Corps. We have two great children, Ryan 19 and Sarah 18. Having Tina nominated for Military Hero of the Week would be a great end to her 26 year career in the Navy.
