I would like to nominate my son, Sgt. Shawn Dunkin. Shawn was killed on February 19, 2007 in Iraq when an IED struck the vehicle he was riding in. Two other soldiers, Matthew Bowe and Adare Cleveland, were also killed. My son is a true American hero. Proud American Gold Star mom of Sgt. Shawn M. Dunkin.
