Military Hero

Dimitri was nominated by his wife: My husband, Dimitri, is the most amazing person I have ever met in my life. He has been proudly serving in the Navy for 19 years and counting. Dimitri is a great mentor to his sailors, devoted husband and dad, and a true inspiration to everyone as he managed to find time to study and graduate with a Bachelor's degree in between his hectic work schedule and favorite hobby of rebuilding hot rods. Dimitri got back home last November from a 9-month deployment working long shifts as a flight deck coordinator and almost immediately left for 6 weeks of school at the elite Senior Enlisted Academy. He is most certainly my hero and best friend!
