Military Hero

Austin was nominated by his wife, Emma: I nominate my husband, Austin for military hero of the week because of how proud I am of him. We had our first baby 5 weeks before he was deployed for 9 months last year. It broke both our hearts for him to his her first months, but through it all he kept a brave face and positive attitude. He recorded stories for her and sent her gifts and letters and even set her up an email account so that she could read emails from him when she's older. Since he's been home he has jumped right in to being an amazing Daddy, they are besotted with each other and it's so heartwarming to see. Austin is also a loyal, loving devoted husband. Our lives are so much richer for having him as part of our family. The Navy is very lucky to have him!
